In today’s first match in the Under 21 UEFA Football Championship the Czech Republic defeated Italy 3-1 in Tychy.
In the second match in group C the German representation will face Denmark in Krakow. Stefan Kuntz’s team still want to win, but Niels Frederiksen’s footballers have to win if they want to advance to the semi finals. The Germans are the favorites in this confrontation. It’s worth remembering that two years ago during the Under 21 European Football Championship ootball championship finals in the Czech Republic both teams also faced each other in the second group phase and the top winner of this encounter was Germany who won decisively 3-0.
The Danes are still very determined to win, even though Niels Frederiksen is not planning any changes compared to the match with the Italians.
When you play against such strong rivals, you need to defend very skillfully. I’m counting on the fact that we will be able to create more situations than in the previous match. We know that we have to win -stated the Danish trainer.
At 8:45pm in Krakow Denmark will play against Germany.
