With great ambition and with a big appetite the players from the Polish representation are approaching their first match in the youth European championship.
The white and reds will play today against Slovakia in Lublin at 8:45pm
Coach Marcin Dorna ensures that the team is optimally ready for the tournament.
After the last week in Arłamow I am convinced that we will be in excellent disposition. We want to represent ourselves the best way but no declarations will be submitted.
We are concentrating on every action that we take in every match and practice. „We believe that we are optimally ready for this tournament but we have 3 contestants who have experienced a big Euro which can be an additional advantage” stated Marcin Dorma
Slovakia theoretically is the weakest opponent for the Polish squad in this group. Furthermore they also face off against England and Sweden.
The English play against the Scandinavians at the Kolporter Arena which will open the tournament in Kielce
„England has a very good team”. Hakan Ericson the coach of the Swedish team stated at the press conference. „In the English representation the team will be performing with good and ambitious players. I also paid attention to their good organizational skills. I saw the last 2 friendly games played by England with Germany and Denmark. They presented 2 different styles and 2 different 11 formations. They had a few problems in the first meeting and presented themselves very well in the second.”
The meeting between England and Sweden will be at 6pm at the Kolporter Arena in Kielce.
At 8:45pm in Lublin Poland will play with Slovakia.
